Discover the Interaction Sound Music Movement team’s work on group interaction.
The availability and spread of networked and web-audio technologies has enabled novel musical possibilities from both artistic and scientific point of views. In this context, IRCAM develops since several years, new tools dedicated at exploring group interaction in musical experiences: from shared listening experiences to performances involving public participation using web audio technologies and nomad platforms (e.g. smartphones and tablets).

5pm | Constella(c)tions Après une courte présentation, le public sera invité à participer à une performance de la pièce A collection of interactive music pieces that aim to put physical gestures and collective interaction at the centre of musical performances. All the projects are based on web audio tools and mobile technology, using smartphones motion sensors to control sound according to body movements. After a short presentation, the public will be invited to participate in the performance of the piece |
