Masahiro Aogaki

Masahiro Aogaki (Japan, b. 1991) received his Master's degree in composition at the Tokyo University of the Arts, (Tokyo Geidai) studying under Ichiro Nodaïra. In 2017, he was admitted to the Paris Conservatory (Cnsmdp) in Stefano Gervasoni's class, and in the new technologies class with Luis Naón, Yan Maresz, Grégoire Lorieux, Yann Geslin, and Oriol Saladrigues. In his compositional process, he is interested in the redefinition of instrumental, vocal, or textual identities, as well as in the recontextualization of pre-existing musical languages. His scores have been performed by the Orchestre de Picardie, the Orchestre de Caen, the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Ensemble Muromachi, Collettivo_21, and the Duo Jeux d'Anches among others.
