Jean-Julien Aucouturier is a CNRS researcher in the Sound Perception and Design team. He studied computer science and has held several posts in the field of cognitive neurosciences (RIKEN Brain Science Institute of Tokyo, université de Bourgogne) before arriving at IRCAM. Today, he heads to team-project CREAM, supported by the European Research Council, and uses technologies for sound signal processing to understand how voices and music create emotions.
