Damian Gorandi (Argentine, b. 1991) is currently in the Master’s degree program at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris, in Stefano Gervasoni’s class.
His creations are born in the feedback of creative processes between instrumental and acousmatic music. He has won many international prizes such as INA-GRM – concours Banc d'Essai or 1st Prize Russolo.
He has worked with ensembles such as Ensemble Linea, Moscou Contemporary Music Ensemble, l’Ensemble intercontemporain, Accroche note... His music is frequently programmed in Europe, South America, North America and Asia. He was guided by teachers including Jorge Sad, Elsa Justel, Robin Minard, Daniel D’Adamo, and Tom Mays.
