Outre ses études musicales à la Maîtrise de l'Opéra et au CRR de Lyon (direction de chœur, basson, analyse et écriture), Clément Buonomo étudie le chant dans la classe de Jean-Christophe Henry. Il intègre les Chantres du CMBV en tant que baryton léger et en sort diplômé en 2012. Il collabore en tant que choriste ou soliste avec de nombreux chefs, Olivier Schneebeli, Christophe Rousset, Hervé Niquet, Kent Nagano, Louis Langrée, Claire Gibault … Poursuivant ses études de direction de chœur au CRR de Lyon (Régine Théodoresco) et au CRR de Paris (Christine Morel), il obtient le diplôme de cycle spécialisé en 2014. Dirigeant plusieurs chœurs et assurant l’enseignement vocal à l'Académie du Spectacle Equestre Bartabas depuis 2013, il prend en charge en 2016 la formation en chant choral des Pages du CMBV puis en devient coordinateur pédagogique. En 2021, il est nommé directeur adjoint de la Maîtrise, aux côtés de Fabien Armengaud, et se voit confier la direction de plusieurs projets musicaux.
