Timelessness is an "artistic and political manifesto", in favor of the body, its enhancement, and the expression of gestures and postures in musical practice. Thierry De Mey reveals his self-portrait by bringing together old and new pieces, surrounded by the Percussions de Strasbourg. The famous Musique de Tables uses only hands, fingers, nails, and palms on a tabletop stage. In Hands, which opened Wim Vandekeybus's What the Body Does Not Remember, the percussionists follow the original choreography.
"Reflections on temporalities, spectral iridescence on instruments tuned in micro-intervals, tangled pulsations, waves, double pendulums, gravitational waves and the spirit of Atlajala taking possession of the souls and bodies of the living creatures in Paul Bowles' circular valley, or the ocean in Solaris."
