Soirée du Cursus #1
Exploring and integrating the potential of electronics: this is the challenge faced by Cursus composers during their year of training in the technologies and computer programs developed at IRCAM. These two evenings present their final projects, developed in the IRCAM studios. Ten eclectic proposals, revealing the diversity of musical worlds, highlighting voice in all its forms, as well as performance and improvisation. Inspiration may come from architecture, history, literature, or psychiatry (Jown Dowland, Le Corbusier, Marie Stuart, the Ukrainian poetess Lessia Ukraïnka...), but this evening also introduces audiences to the new voices of today's music.
