Luis Quintana

Luis Quintana (Porto Rico, 1988) studied composition and piano at the music conservatory of Porto Rico, where he was awarded the conservatory’s composition award—the Roberto I. Feldman prize—in 2010. He continued his studies at the École normale de musique, supported by the Zaleski Foundation. Luis received his diploma in composition from the École normale de musique in 2012. He won unanimously first prize in orchestration (2013) and analysis (2014) at the Schola Cantorum in Paris.

In 2014, he followed Jean-Luc Hervé’s composition course as well as Yan Maresz’ class on new technologies at the conservatory in Boulogne-Billancourt from where he received his diploma with honors in 2016.
