Emmanuel Ponsot
Emmanuel Ponsot was initially trained in Engineering at Ecole Centrale (Lyon) with a Master degree in Acoustics. He turned to Psychoacoustics in his thesis and obtained a PhD in Cognitive Sciences at Sorbonne University (2015 - Ircam/LMA collaboration). He pursued his work as a postdoctoral fellow at Ircam, at the Laboratoire des Systèmes Perceptifs of the École Normale Supérieure de Paris, and at the Hearing Technology Lab of Ghent University (Belgium). Recruited as a CNRS researcher in 2021, he is currently working in the Perception & Sound Design team of the STMS lab at Ircam.
