Alvarado Bonilla Daniel

Daniel Alvarado Bonilla (Colombia, 1985) began his musical training studying electric and classical guitar. After receiving his diploma as a musician from the Andes de Bogota university, he decided to dedicate himself entirely to his passion: composition. He came to France to pursue his studies and in 2009 he began at the École normale de musique de Paris in Édith Lejet’s composition class. Daniel also studied under Martin Matalon and Rober Pascal as well as with Philippe Hurel at the CNSMD de Lyon. In 2014 he continued his training with a Master’s degree at the Conservatoire de Paris under Stefano Gervasoni. His music has been performed by Ensemble Alternance, the Orchestre de Caen, the Alkymia ensemble, the saxopohone quartet Xenon, and the Ensemble intercontemporain.
