Chloé Thévenin (CHLOE de son nom de scène)

Her story is now well known: that of a DJ and mulit-faceted pioneer. When she started in the late 1990s, few women had taken over the decks. Her rise was intertwined with that of Pulp, a club where dancing and gathering were as much about politics as they were about music—especially concerning minority representation.

From Parisian clubs to international stages, Chloé has consistently defied expectations, creating sets that oscillate between ecstatic euphoria and the melancholic beauty of dawn after a night of raving.

In 2017, she founded her own label, Lumière Noire. After a decade of challenging musical categories, she now feels freer than ever to experiment with textures, sonic environments, and narratives—whether composing film scores, collaborating with choreographer Maud Le Pladec, visual artist Noémie Goudal, or theater director Maëlle Poésy. Her artistic spectrum continues to expand, embracing every opportunity to push sonic boundaries even further.
