Bernat Pont Anglada (Catalonia, b. 1998) is a composer and performer interested in creating new artistic experiences through humor, impact and love. He works with sound, image and narrative to create contemporary experimental pop shows.
He studied composition at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) with Aureliano Cattaneo and Christophe Havel, then at the Hochschule der Künste Bern (HKB), with Simon Steen-Andersen, Cathy Van Eck, and Franziska Baumann. He obtained his Master's degree in Composition – Creative Practice in 2023.
Anglada is a member of BMC3io, a free improvisation group combining pop, contemporary music, electronics and performance. He also founded, with Mireia Pellisa Martin, Severin Dornier and João Calado, the experimental music ensemble COCAINE HIPPOS, which won the Köster Preis for the creation of a new production at the Realtime Festival 2023 (Bremen).
