Rendezvous with creation, with emerging and future artistic possibilities in Paris, IRCAM’s festival is a manifest for the arts of time (music, theater, dance, digital arts) and for technological invention.
From June 6 through the 30th, ManiFeste-2018 invests the Centre Pompidou, the Philharmonie de Paris, the CENTQUATRE-Paris, the MC93 the T2G… with over 20 events in connection with the exhibitions “Coder le monde” and “Ryoji Ikeda” at the Centre Pompidou. Concerts, installations, and performances expose tangibly, on stage, the stimulations and provocations between man and machine while the Forum Vertigo (June 13-16), takes an in-depth look at the state of the art of the use of code in artistic creation while exploring the current impact of digital humanities.
ManiFeste-2018 brings together a hundred artists including Georges Aperghis, Donatienne Michel-Dansac, Robert Henke, Jean-François Peyret, Jeanne Balibar, Rebecca Saunders, Hector Parra, Natasha Barrett, OpenEndedGroup, Ryoji Ikeda, Angelin Preljocaj, Helmut Lachenmann... in addition to the young composers from IRCAM
