VxH - La Voix humaine

Edit

The new creation by the director and composer Roland Auzet is an unusual object in every sense of the word, created in situ at the Scène numérique de Montbéliard.
This project uses two narratives: La voixhumaine by Jean Cocteau and Disappear Here by Falk Richter. Both texts evoke intimacy and absence: the absence of the other in a telephone conversation in the text by Jean Cocteau, and the absence of oneself in the narrative of a person seeking a close friend in Falk Richter. They are performed by one of the most troubling actresses on the French scene today: Irène Jacob.
The set offers a suspended platform, creating an intimate relationship with the theatrical and sonic narration. The acoustic, musical dimension created around the stage with sensors transcribe and harmonize the sounds from the voice, body, and the actresses’ performance.
