A center for research and artistic creation, IRCAM is also a unique venue for the transmission of knowledge and practices. Discover the institute’s educational activities via concerts, listening sessions, and the presentation of inventive sound objects. We understand the power of the perceptive processes of hearing which makes us "feel", "hear", "listen" to our environment. In the hands of creators—composers in this case—it becomes an instrument used to designs space. A few examples will illustrate this sound projection technology and its immersive character.
