Since its establishment in 1977, this initiative has provided the foundation for the institute’s activities. One of the major issues is the importance of contributing to the renewal of musical expression through science and technology. Conversely, sp…

Songes et Métamorphoses

Edit

Songes et Métamorphoses is a two-part performance. Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night’s Dream, preceded by Hôtel Métamorphoses, a piece written by Guillaume Vincent, inspired by Somnium, The Dream. To paraphrase Shakespeare, "two charming fruits on a single stalk", sound and music fully participate in this game of metamorphoses. "Starting with A Midsummer Night's Dream, specifically the part connected with artisans, I wanted to compose variations, like in music, on the theme of amature theater. The amature theater where art is not the only goal." Guillaume Vincent.
