Songes et Métamorphoses is a two-part performance. Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night’s Dream, preceded by Hôtel Métamorphoses, a piece written by Guillaume Vincent, inspired by Somnium, The Dream. To paraphrase Shakespeare, "two charming fruits on a single stalk", sound and music fully participate in this game of metamorphoses. "Starting with A Midsummer Night's Dream, specifically the part connected with artisans, I wanted to compose variations, like in music, on the theme of amature theater. The amature theater where art is not the only goal." Guillaume Vincent.
