Ludovic Lagarde continues his exploration of Olivier Cadiot’s books with Providence. This text contains sound, oral, and technological facets. This experimental work has been a part of IRCAM since Le Colonel des Zouaves.
“Providence will be more of a monologue, but adapted for and with two actors. Each one will tell several stories: one will play a mage in summer, an angel of unhappiness, a devoted servant, a piano arranger, a gothic author, an old man who doesn’t understand anything anymore. The other will be an actor without any imagination, a young man who quickly becomes a young woman, an ageing fairy in an installation, a champion in diction. Together, they pass from one genre to another, from one dance to another.” Ludovic Lagarde
