Présences 2019
Dedicated to the protean figure Wolfgang Rihm, the festival Présences 2019 also offers a series of premieres by a generation of emerging composers. The composer Sampo Haapamäki imagined an imposing, dramatic work. The conductor’s hands interact directly with the electronics. Beyond the use of numerous technological tools included in this work (AudioSculpt, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Spear, Sound Studio, Ircam Solo Instruments, Max, OpenMusic), it is the spectral, micro-tonal world that characterizes the universe of this burgeoning Finnish artist.
