La Princesse légère

Edit

Based on the fairy tale by George MacDonald - Premiere 2017
Edit

A king, a queen, a prince, and a light princess, victim of a spell… These are the characters in a talk on gravity and flight. This fairy tale by George Macdonald, friend and mentor to Lewis Carroll, gives birth today to an opera played between water and air in which every element of the stage décor becomes sonorous. An innovative encounter between the young Colombian composer Violeta Cruz and the actor and director Jos Houben, founder of the company “Complicité” in London and acclaimed actor l’Art du rire.

Opera for ages 8 and up.
