Fondé il y a quarante ans, le label électronique Mego salue l’une de ses figures emblématiques, l’artiste expérimental anglais Peter Rehberg (Pita), disparu en 2021. Dans la galaxie Mego gravitaient également Fennesz, O’Rourke, Russel Haswell, Oneohtrix Point Never. Mais Mego, dont l’acronyme fait allusion à l’expression « My Eyes Glaze Over » forgée par le futurologue Herman Kahn, entend surtout regarder vers l’avenir. Une nouvelle génération, moins bruitiste et utilisant les synthétiseurs analogiques, est présentée par l’artiste et improvisatrice Caterina Barbieri – accompagnée par des pionniers du genre – lors de ces soirées organisées avec le Centre Pompidou.
