Debate | Code and artificial intelligence: new masters of knowledge and creation?
The notion of learning has been shaken up today by the use of massive data, while artificial creativity, on the rise, completely changes our idea of art and knowledge. As seen in the examples of automatic translation or in image recognition, the circuits of knowledge have been reconfigured: the traditional transfer from man to the machine is rivaled by routes that go from the machine to man, and even more that go from machine to machine.
This public debate clearly sets out the issues and impacts of the major mutations introduced by digital technologies in the academic world. Algorithms, coding, artificial intelligence, and big data: who are the masters of knowledge today? What uses can be made of these tools in learning and creation.
