In the framework of the Festival Présences

For the closing of the Présences 2025 festival, Tristan Murail presents his new work with electronics, drawing his inspiration from the sounds of the guzheng (Chinese zither). Murail, who taught Olga Neuwirth in Paris, returns to the digital craftsmanship practiced at IRCAM. Numerous ghosts linger in this concert: Berio in Éric Montalbetti's concertino, and Handel, Mahler, and Stravinsky in the inflections of Olga Neuwirth's trumpet concerto, premiered by Pierre Boulez at the Salzburg Festival.
