The season opens in the Carré magique at the abbaye de Royaumont. Discovered during the IRCAM Cursus program, laureate of the Fondation Royaumont, the young Israeli composer Sivan Eldar continues her fresh air pursuits with her passion for the beauty and complexity of the voice. Written for a text by Cordelia Lynn, Heave begins with the intimacy of a voice, he or she, one and multiple, taking off in the realistic environment of an acousmatic landscape. An invitation from the Exaudi ensemble’s soloists to the enchanted nature and painful amours of Italian madrigals (Gesualdo, Monteverdi) and contemporary writings.
