Alan T
As part of the Propagations festival
Mathematician and genius cryptographer, unsung hero of the Second World War, father of modern computing, victim of homophobic persecution... Alan Turing is a remarkable figure of the 20th century and the center of Pierre Jodlowski's dramatic creation, based on a libretto by the German writer Frank Witzel. A singer, an actor, five musicians, an audiovisual system: these figures participate in the dramaturgy inspired by a dazzling existential and scientific trajectory, in a virtually psychoanalytical form. How to stage the life of a researcher, passionate about mathematics and life, who preceded the decisive discoveries on DNA? This show offers a kaleidoscopic and multiple experience on Alan Turing, using audiovisual transformation mechanisms developed at IRCAM.
