With a master's degree in piano from the University of Art of Teheran and a master's degree in musicology from the Université Paris-Sorbonne, Sina Fallahzadeh (Iran, 1981) studied composition at the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional (CRR) de Paris, at Pôle supérieur d'enseignement artistique Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB), and at the Haute école de musique (HEM) in Geneva. He was a finalist in the 2012 Métamorphoses competition, and winner of the Luigi Russolo competition in 2013. Sina has studied with Gérard Pesson, Denis Dufour and Édith Canat de Chizy in Paris; with Michael Jarrell, Luis Naón, and Éric Daubresse in Geneva and with Alireza Mashayekhi in Teheran.
