Jonathan Bell (France, 1982) received a diploma in writing and his Master's Degree in composition from the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (Nuñes, Gervasoni). He completed his doctoral degree in composition at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London under James Weeks. His thesis offers a vocal and instrumental interpretation assisted by acoustic signals (Audio-scores). His music is influenced by spectralism, by Morton Feldman, and by early music (14th-16th century).
