Informations and fees on the Forum Website

The Forum is a community of artists, researchers, engineers, sound designers, teachers, and sound and music industry professionals geared towards technological innovation.

The Forum's web platform provides access to a number of software and plugins for composition, sound signal processing, and real-time interaction as well as an array of activities and new services. The platform is also a venue for collaborative exchanges of musical knowledge and skills, focusing on the technologies from IRCAM's R&D department. Today, there are over 6,000 participants on Forumnet.

Since 2014, with the support of the Institut Français, editions of the Forum Workshops have been held abroad in partnership with universities and research centers in addition to the Forum’s annual Parisian event. Following Seoul, Korea in 2014, Buenos Aires, Argentina and São Paulo, Brazil in 2015, they will be travelling to Taiwan in December, 2016.

Annual meeting of the IRCAM software users' group, the IRCAM Forum Workshops feature conferences and demonstrations intended for professionals - composers, performers, researchers, sound designers, engineers, and other sound professionals - and amateurs.
