Alan T.

A brilliant mathematician and cryptographer, an unsung hero of the Second World War, the father of modern computing, a prophet of artificial intelligence, a martyr to homophobic persecution... Alan Turing is an emblematic figure of the 20th century and the subject of Pierre Jodlowski's new interdisciplinary project with a libretto by Frank Witzel. A staged creation for a singer, an actor, five musicians, and an audiovisual apparatus, which retraces the exceptional trajectory of the man, in an almost psychoanalytical fashion, while attempting to make his visionary theories tangible. Like its model, the show is a kaleidoscopic experience, made possible by audiovisual transformation systems developed at IRCAM. Multimedia performance inspired by the life of the mathematician Alan Turing
