About ten electronic sequences, resembling clusters of fragments drawn from the great 19th-century piano repertoire, follow one another: each is like a wall on which the soloist attempts an intervention, responding with gestures that sometimes attack and negate the surface, and sometimes try to follow its curvature. Through the pianist’s playing, the work seeks to recapture the interventionist gesture of the urban graffiti artist. A documentary written and directed by Nicolas Donin and Benoît Martin.
