IRCAM is associated with the Centre Pompidou, under the aegis of the French Ministry of Culture. The STMS Joint Research lab (Sciences et technologies de la musique et du son - UMR 9912), hosted by IRCAM is also supported by the CNRS and Sorbonne University.
IRCAM receives the support of Sacem (Société des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique), the Centre national de la musique and the ULYSSES Platform, co-funded by the European Union
The Comité Colbert co-opted IRCAM as an associate member. Founded in 1954, the Comité Colbert gathers French luxury houses and several cultural institutions. They work together to promote French art de vivre at international level.
