A Program Supporting Innovation and the Diversity of Musical Practices. Four residency showcase performances to discover in 2026, streamed live on IRCAM’s YouTube channel.
In 2026, the Centre national de la musique and IRCAM are launching “CNM x Ircam Inside”, a residency program inviting artists to explore new ways of creating music through the expertise of the STMS laboratory and the technologies developed by the IRCAM Forum. Throughout these residencies, artists from diverse backgrounds experiment, test, and imagine new forms of creation for both live performance and studio work. This exploratory partnership opens the doors to sound research and makes it accessible to a wider audience.
Each residency concludes with a live performance, broadcast on IRCAM’s YouTube channel from its studios under the Place Stravinsky, as part of the IRCAM Forum Studio Sessions series. Each concert is followed by a presentation of the technologies involved, led by the artist and IRCAM researchers.

Blasé
A Franco-American singer, songwriter, and producer, Blasé works at the crossroads of hip-hop, R&B, funk, and electronic music.
At IRCAM, using tools developed by the ISMM research team, he created a piece of electronic and generative music exploring networked improvisation. The audience actively participates in the live performance as part of an interactive experience.
Anee Molly & Bart Bell
Anee Molly, a French electronic artist, composes ambient, experimental, and sensitive music. Bart Bell, a French composer and sound designer, develops an immersive and exploratory sonic approach.
The uniqueness of their duo project—combining modular synthesizers, biofeedback, and EEG signals—lies in the fact that a performer’s brain activity directly influences the sound creation. This work opens up new forms of immersive concerts and perceptual experiences for audiences.

During her residency at IRCAM, she is developing a mixed music project centered on the cello, incorporating real-time sound processing and spatialization systems. Her approach aims to enrich instrumental improvisation through multichannel diffusion and sound design tools, while maintaining a strong organic and performative dimension.
