To celebrate the centenary of György Kurtág: Messages de feu Demoiselle R.V. Troussova! This monodrama draws on the poetry of Rimma Dalos, sharing the same sense of sonic or poetic immediacy and the same incisive, unforgettable language. Alongside Kurtág, Hungarian composer Márton Illés brings electronics to his mastery of orchestration, while Isabel Mundry stages a voice in the world. The individual confronted with their environment: an exploration of power and powerlessness.
