As part of the ManiFeste festival, the Documentary department of IRCAM and the BPI are joining forces for a musical discussion centered on Stefano Gervasoni, a major figure in contemporary music creation.

Hosted by François-Xavier Féron, the event will look back on the Italian composer’s career and explore his relationship with musical heritage. On saxophone, Carl-Emmanuel Fisbach will perform Quarta traccia (2024) on an original instrument built by Adolphe Sax in 1880.
