A flexible and fluid structure, the LecOlap Research Workshop: Read – Write – Create at LAP, led by art historian and philosopher Agnès Callu (Laboratoire d’anthropologie politique, LAP, EHESS/CNRS), in partnership with IRCAM – Centre Pompidou, engages with contemporary practices through the work of those who inhabit the contemporary scene, while also developing as a space for encounters and exchanges around aesthetic experiences collectively shared by artists and their “viewers.” Working with the raw material of a work (literary, musical, theatrical, poetic, visual, choreographic, or cinematic), the workshop reflects on the genesis, circulation, and reception of a creative work that, whether separately or together, calls for both writing and reading, raising and opening up critical questions: through reading, through writing.

During the 2026–2027 academic year, Argentine artist Ariel de la Vega will accompany the collective inquiry by presenting visual works from his creative practice, which will be exhibited at the Museo de Tandil in autumn 2026 as part of the exhibition El hilo de plata.

Ariane Mnouchkine, le texte dans le corps

Influenced by Eastern theatre and distancing herself from bourgeois theatrical conventions, Ariane Mnouchkine, author of screenplays and filmmaker, developed a political Théâtre du Soleil grounded in a communal ensemble ethos and committed ideals. It carries a critical voice as, open to the world, it takes a wide-angle view of the issues and perspectives of the human condition.
