Philippe Leroux is the author of nearly eighty works written for symphonies, acousmatic music, voice, electronics, and chamber music. These have been commissioned by the French Ministry of Culture, the Orchestre philharmonique de Radio-France, the Südwestfunk Baden-Baden, IRCAM, Les Percussions de Strasbourg, as well as other French and foreign institutions.
