A major figure of the Flemish choreographic scene, Wim Vandekeybus revisits his first piece—impetuous and transgressive—which marked the arrival of the young choreographer in 1987. What the Body Does Not Remember unfolds a turbulent physical language, in perfect friction with the dynamic and innovative score by Thierry De Mey and Peter Vermeersch. A revival of a prototype, 40 years after its premiere.
