Présences 2025 celebrates Georges Aperghis, a longtime collaborator of IRCAM and a pioneer of musical theater. Known for his wild mechanisms and multiple narrative engines, Aperghis unveils Trompe-oreille , a new work featuring trumpeter Marco Blaauw, surrounded by a chorus of animal and electronic entities. Voice remains essential in his work and also resonates in a new piece by composer and vocalist Sofia Avramidou.
