Stillness, immersion, meditation, precise intonation: American artist Kali Malone assembles a spatialized organ avatar, merging her oscillators with Stephen O’Malley’s guitar and Lucy Railton’s cello. In Does Spring Hide Its Joy, the taste for sonic hallucinations, immersive drones, and the dream of synesthesia intertwines with the projection of Anthony McCall’s solid lights.
