Internationally renowned artist and filmmaker Anthony McCall presents a series of “solid light” works. At IRCAM’s Espace de projection, he has found an exceptional setting for these silent vertical installations that intersect with musical works. The fascination of these sculptures of light lies in the simplicity of their principle: a projected form that becomes a cone, generating a unique sensation of projection, movement, and of interior and exterior space.
