We will explore different processes for constructing and articulating sound trajectories, transitions, and temporal evolutions. A specific attention will be paid to the construction of large forms and the dramaturgy of listening. Finally, the workshop will open up a field of experimentation around algorithmic tools, extending the expressive potential of “classic” technologies —samplers, drum machines, arpeggiators — by diverting them from their automatisms to make them more open and flexible instruments.
