The Festival ManiFeste-2019 is Online!

A ManiFeste for the arts of time (music, theater, video, film) and technological intervention, IRCAM’s festival is the Parisian rendezvous dedicated to creation and young artists.

From June 1st through the 29th, the festival ManiFeste-2019 brings together over 150 artists as well as young musicians and composers from the world over in its academy. Discover 30 unique creations, including those by Simon Steen-Andersen, Pascal Dusapin, Philippe Manoury, Georgia Spiropoulos, and Januibe Tejera. These creations all include original systems that explode the exercise of the concert. Come and be surprised by Stockhausen’s opera Samstag aus Licht reworked by the Balcon, by the works of  Ludovic Lagarde or Peter Tscherkassky. Listen, or re-listen to recent works from the repertoire by composers such as Emmanuel Nunes, Kaija Saariaho, Giacinto Scelsi, Iannis Xenakis, etc.

The festival takes over the Grande salle in the Centre Pompidou as well as concert halls and theaters around Paris:  the Philharmonie de Paris, MC93, La Scala Paris, to Radio France, the CENTQUATRE-Paris, and the T2G-Théâtre de Gennevilliers.
