Concert du Cursus #2
IRCAM's Composition and Computer Music program continues the shift begun in recent years toward a greater diversity in musical forms and aesthetics. The 2022 productions include dance, song, and audiovisual performances as well as electroacoustic music. Held in the Grande Salle at the Centre Pompidou, and at 3537 rue des Francs-Bourgeois in the form of an itinerant concert, the two evenings of the Cursus subvert forms and formats and articulate the relationship between electronics and the stage space. This is a situation that Pierre Jodlowski, the new composer associated with the Cursus, who has been responsible for the artistic accompaniment of the very eclectic Cursus 2021-2022 class, takes to heart.
