Sheng! L'orgue à bouche - 15th seminar
The study of the spectral properties of sheng
with Mikhail Malt (STMS - IRCAM, CNRS, Sorbonne Université) - IReMus) and Julie Delisle (Université de Montréal)
In the first study session on the spectral properties of the sheng sound (the 10th), we noted certain phenomena, notably due to amplitude modulations in the intervals and chords of the sheng. In this session we will focus on the study of beats and differentials between the different pipes of the sheng, trying to understand the logic of their generation.
