Choreographer Alexandre Roccoli adapts Soundwalk Collective's Lovotic for the stage. The album incorporates lyrics and vocals by longtime Soundwalk Collective collaborator Charlotte Gainsbourg, electronic music producer Atom™, composer Lyra Pramuk, actor Willem Dafoe, and philosopher Paul B. Preciado.
In this choreographic creation developed for IRCAM's Espace de projection, six dancers from the Ballet National de Marseille are in constant metamorphosis, forming mutant bodies through their breath. How can we explore the emotional, intimate, and sexual relationships between humans and the robotic universe? This immersive choral dance evokes a post-human, non-binary future. An image-time where time seems suspended for a sleepless night, with the participation of Charlotte Gainsbourg.
