Laquelle se passe ailleurs
Mathieu Corajod, a young Swiss artist, has inherited the practices of Georges Aperghis, renewing contemporary musical theater through the hybridization of artistic practices, interdisciplinary collaboration and the use of technology. On stage, a singer, an actor, a dancer, a percussionist, are all connected by technology, with no other musical instrument than bodies, voices, and found objects. This theater of words and "intelligent" objects is a score of breath, gestures, fragments drawn occasionally from press clippings, which multiplies confusions, meanings, and connotations. Irony and fluidity, the writer Dominique Quélen shares a taste for the absurd that emerges from daily life and human chatter with Mathieu Corajod. We cut the words "dif fer en tly", the performers constantly swapping their roles in this creation, which will always take place elsewhere.
