C-LAB Sound Festival : Concert de l'Instant Donné

An explosive concert that brings together the musicians from L'Instant Donné with IRCAM. The composers, all of whom have passed through IRCAM, stimulate instrumental gesture through technology: the impact of percussion in Raphael Cendo’s work, virtuosity and cinematographic speed in Magnus Lindberg’s piece, a burlesque theatre of light and movement by Alexander Schubert. Olivier Messiaen's solitary work is directed towards nature, without technology: a bird escaping the abyss, "it is our desire for light, stars, rainbows and jubilant vocalizations!"
