To close out the celebrations marking the Ensemble intercontemporain's anniversary, Pierre Jodlowski has created a video and musical work on the Ensemble's history. Archive Z, in the form of a docu-fiction, delves into the Ensemble's archives in search of its ghosts. Webern, opening the concert, embodies the Ensemble's longstanding attachment to the Second Viennese School. As for young Ukrainian composer Yana Shliabanska, she brings to this program a rare sense of dramaturgy in space and through electronics.
