IRCAM is partnering with Maison Pompidou to offer engaging digital workshops for children, teenagers, and families.
The aim of these workshops is to enable younger generations to experiment with innovation and raise awareness of the major areas of scientific and technological research into sound conducted in IRCAM’s laboratories and studios. Young audiences are invited to immerse themselves in the world of music in cinema with Ciné-sons, experiment with new approaches to storytelling through CoMo-éducation, or try their hand at instrument-making with lutherie numérique.
On the second weekend of every month, from September 2026 to July 2027, take your children to explore the alliance between creativity and technology—and rediscover the human–machine partnership.
These workshops are run in French.
This workshop invites children to enjoy a playful, interactive, and collective experience that explores listening, imagination, and body awareness. Thanks to innovative technology that transforms gestures and movements into sound, your children discover stories in a whole new way.
Music in film gives meaning to images and shapes our perception. By remixing iconic scenes from the history of cinema, children explore the connection between images, music, and emotions, and discover the secrets behind sound creation in film.
Digital workshops are also held at La Seine Musicale throughout the season, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting on September 19, 2026.
