See you soon on the IRCAM Circus mobile site!
Forty years after its inauguration, the Stravinsky Fountain is back to life! Its sixteen figures have been restored to their original animated movements and watery sounds.
Designed by Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely—the subject of discussions with Pierre Boulez—the Place Stravinsky is the most musical square in Paris. References to Stravinsky's ballets abound: Ragtime, Les noces, Renard, Rossignol and, of course, the great Firebird, which leads and drives the overall movements.
A musical renaissance, with the electroacoustic creation of Sivan Eldar, and the "Seven Tales from the Fountain" by the author Hélène Frappat, with a music by Mikel Urquiza, that each walker will be able to discover on the dedicated application, IRCAM Circus.
